Yes, Laurie. I was beginning to think that the delivery was taking too long and I'd have to conduct a caesarian.

Thanks, Laurie and Eva. I had several wrong guesses, though.

What's frustrating is that I googled "first president of Confederacy" and got only Davis. I guess the word "Provisional" was the key. Forty-five years ago, I was in labor for two and a half days. How long did it take to deliver this answer? |

I think the answer took longer (3 days or so) than your labor, and I'm guessing that it was lot more fun.

I agree , when I saw the image it reminded me of someone else (If that helps ... though I cannot think of who) . Sorry, definitely not Confederate. RE: Who is this person?

No, sorry Roger. ( I agree there is a facial resemblance to Oscar Jackson)

This man had a short but very eventful life. In fact someone should make a film about him. In my opinion, a very unusual life. In some ways a David Lockmiller-type of person (I am guessing at David's political beliefs and hope I'm not offending him), but in other ways a very un-David Lockmiller person. This man died after the Civil War. An officer, he was shot whilst in the Army. Obviously, you will draw your own conclusions about that (as I have, and I may well be wrong) |
