Semi-History Channel Strikes Again
In case you've been watching the History Channel's "Son's of Liberty"
I hate to dissapoint you, but as usual the series is more fiction than fact.

However, who knew that the British General Gage's wife was so attractive (she managed to keep her youthful appearence after bearing 10 children) and she really may have actually supplied the Sons of Liberty with military information. It appears this may have resulted in some disruption to their matrimonial harmony.

So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in?

Like a Boston Irishman playing Col Prescott at Lexington? Well, if you think that the Am Revol selections are bad wait until they do the Alamo in a month or two. That ought to be a doozy! But it ain't as bad as O'Reilly's killing Lincoln. Maybe it will stimulate some body will read a real book on the Revolution. Dream on, Billy Boy!

I watched some of this as well. Definitely some head scratching moments historically speaking. I certainly understand creative license, but I never understand why producers of these type of programs feel they have to inject drama into a story that had plenty of its own accord.

On a similar note, check out the ladies' off-the-shoulder day dresses and plunging necklines in this trailer for "Point of Honor." Well, it does get hot in Virginia . . .

The third part of Sons of Lib was shot to hell, to put it bluntly. Blows my whole theory of giving TV a break.
