I just talked to a friend from Elmira,NY.They have not found the criminal yet,but they are"close"!

Glad to hear that they're on the trail! Unfortunately, I also found out today that Fanny Seward's grave was recently vandalized as well -

   

   

The original lovely white marble cross was broken off by vandals -

Hi Betty,
I think that is an older picture. I took a photo of Fanny's grave some 7 or 8 years ago and the cross was not there. So maybe it was a case of old vandalism.

Update-The perpetrator has not been caught yet! I will post the results when he,she,or it has been,[I hope] caught!
