Make Plans To Visit Tudor Hall in 2014
The historic Tudor Hall is a fascinating piece of our nation's history. When you visit, you'll connect to the story of the Maryland Booths who left their mark on America forever. You'll walk where they walked, lived, played, worked and dreamed. When you visit, it makes this part of history come alive. Tudor Hall is located at 17 Tudor Lane, Bel Air, Maryland, 21015.

The property and first floor of Tudor Hall will be open to visitors for tours in 2014 at 1:00 & 2:00 PM on the following dates. This year there are some special tours/talks on the 2:00 tour dates listed with a (*). All 1:00 and other 2:00 tours will feature the general tour. All tours last about 45 minutes. See below for details of the special tours.

Tour Dates: April 13 & 27*, May 4* & 25*, June 8* & 22, July 13* & 27, Aug. 10* & 24, Sept. 14 & 28, Oct. 12 & 26, Nov. 9.

*April 27, July 13, Aug. 10 at 2:00 PM: John Wilkes Booth and Tudor Hall
by Jim Garrett, a life-long Lincoln Assassination and Booth enthusiast, a tour guide at Ford’s Theatre and co-author of The Lincoln Assassination: Where Are they Now? A Guide to the Burial Places of Individuals Connected to the Lincoln Assassination in Washington, DC.

*May 25, June 8 at 2:00 PM: A House Divided: The Booths as a Reflection of Civil War Marylanders by Jim Chrismer, a Harford County Historian who focuses primarily on African American and Civil War history of Harford County. Jim has been associated with the Harford Historical Bulletin in one way or another since 1991 and has served as Assistant Editor, Editor, Publication Chairman, Writer and Researcher.

*May 4 at 2:00 PM: From Underwear to Outerwear: Exploring Civil War Era Dress
Interested in how a lady dressed in the mid-1860's? Come learn the basics about fashion for ladies. Living Historians Karen Heier and Tina Siatkowski discuss underclothing along with day and evening dresses. In addition, they’ll touch on fashion for gentlemen and children. Come and enjoy some time in the past and leave with appreciation for today's fashions and hopefully some admiration for ladies in the 1860's!

Your special programs sound great! And, I second your suggestion to visit this wonderful historic site. The Junius Brutus Booth Society and the Spirits of Tudor Hall have worked long and hard to bring this museum to fruition.
