I found a channel that carries the old TV Western Branded. On this particular episode I saw Edwin Booth was out West & he was looking for a bodyguard . Lucas McCord (Chuck Conners) got the job of course. Reason Booth was out West was he had Pinkerton Detectives to track down Parker. Booth found him in a mining town with intentions of killing Parker. He blamed Parker for leaving his post which would have prevented his brother from entering the Presidential Box which would have prevented the assassination. I also read about Charles Forbes being a guard . Can anyone shed light on this.

Also, on an episode of the Twilight Zone - the professor from Gilliham’s Island- steps outside of a meeting place and realizes he is back on April 14, 1865. He’s trying to tell everyone the President is going to be assassinated. No on believes him. So when he gets back to the present he’s still in shock so he takes out his handkerchief to wipe his face. On the handkerchief are the initials JWB!
At this time I was still teacher & telling another teacher about the episode. She was a blonde & asked me is that a true story ? I didn’t know what to say. I just said the assassination was true but the part about time travel was not. Here’s your sign! Just wanted to share!

RE: John Frederick Parker
can't remember where I read it, it's probably been posted somewhere, but I recall Parker (or maybe it was Forbes) died as a result of injuries from a building construction accident?

So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in?
