You are right Laurie. I am so glad that they are still at an age where all toys are fun and their imaginations still run wild. My oldest is changing a bit, he is obsessed with any and all things sports. Give him a ball and he is fine. I am glad he is into activities instead of video games but part of me misses the little boy who would sit and play with his "guys."

It is not all cute and cuddly though. About ten minutes after the picture was taken the hurricane swept through. The grabbing, wrestling,whining, and fighting always pop up. The boys resembled Godzilla. The tree was Tokyo and numerous ornaments were casualties in the wake. We are still finding ornaments that we have placed ( or so we thought ) out of reach of our youngest from time to time.
Sometimes ( because of their impatience and indelicate care )all that goes through my head is, " Is it time to pet the rabbits George?"
Overall, it has been enjoyable. The boys wanted to use their own money to buy Mom her gifts this year. Jack ( my middle ) was at the store with Kristi shopping for his Brothers. He saw something that he thought my oldest ( Michael ) would love but it was thirty dollars over their twenty dollar limit. He begged Kristi to let him pay the additional thirty with gift cards he got for his birthday. She said no. He was very upset. Later that evening we decided that his heart was in the right place, and if doing this was what he truly wanted then it was fine. After all, he WAS demonstrating the true meaning of Christmas to us. Giving is always more special. We were very proud of him.

And yes, their teeth are filling in. I miss that too. But at least the Orthodontist is having a wonderful year.
