Craig, its a little bit of a drive up I-75 then East on 25 (I think.) It takes an hour or so and beautiful scenery.

Bill, the curator told me that during the war, the area was decidedly pro-Union. When the college began in 1897 after the war, the area had become very much pro-Confederate and anything "Lincoln" was controversial. I didn't see any Confederate battle flags like I do around Nashville, though.

Funny, Bill, I stayed in that room, too. Its great!

There is a beautiful National Park there as well.
