Legal sytem back then was different than today. Where would you find an impartial jury (was that even considered a factor back then)?
I think the goal was quick and speedy justice. Considering the circumstances, for the most part, thats what they got (justice is a relative term- especially in war) But even at that, 2 out of 3 ain't bad. So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in? |
