Breaking a leg

wsanto, I love you! I once asked Mr. Kauffman if there was any mention of heavy bruising to Booth's leg. I would think that something like a horse rolling on you would cause something more than a small bone to snap. I don't remember getting any answer.

BTW: I don't believe that there was any mention made to Lloyd about Booth having had his horse fall on him or having a broken leg. All that was said was the order to get "those things" and also to report that the President (and others) had likely been killed.

Jerry, I don't think that it had anything to do with it being his left leg. Adrenaline was pushing him; he was an excellent horseman; and his fracture was not that severe. Has anyone considered that his break became more severe once he was on the horse and galloping?
