Some not so sourced. But it is still great fun and thought provoking. Once I was teaching a class to a group of people in my church and we created a group on relative finder that showed any relationships we have with each other. Unknown to us, one of my dear friends (a woman I admire tremendously) is my fourth cousin! We share great great great grandparents! (As close as my relationship to the Osmonds) It changed our relationship and I was able to share with her many family treasures I inherited from this ggg grandfather! As with any historical research, seeing the connections allows me to see these historical people differently - knowing they are my "family" I can view them with more curiosity, compassion, and respect - even when I discover those infamous ones. .
