There is a living Booth male (with a change of heart), but I wont discuss that much at this time. Hopefully his dna may at least have autosomal matches revealed in the not too distant future on the History Channel. Also, I don't know about male grandsons or granddaughters of John Baptist Booth, but his daughters were all married, and his son, John Baptist Booth Jr, b: abt May 1880, d: 16 Aug 1953 in Australia. I have some brief news clips that show Maude was the first to die, in 1947, followed by John Baptist Booth Jr in 1953 and Alice Edith (Booth) Lewis in 1957. I haven't found a clipping for Eliza Christiana "Christine" (Booth) Wynne, but she was still alive in 1950 when her husband, Robert Arthur Wynne died and a child is named, but I can't make out the name, but it seems to be __th, possibly Ruth. And some of his siblings are named, but little information is provided. A Family Tree claims they had a son, Robert Vivian Wynne. I would want some verification for that. For now it would seem there may be a possibility for autosomal matches for the Booths we are researching to some surnames in Australia. |
