In the book Jameson tells of a man named Andrew Jackson Donelson who said he met John Wilkes Booth living on a Pacific Island in the late 1860s.

That sounds very much like the book, "Booth and the Spirit of Lincoln" written by Bernie Babcock in 1925. Reviewed under the Books section.

That's a lot of travel in only five years.
