The "Beauty" poem seems to be a reflection of the saying that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and that an artist ("Art") can bring it out when others don't see it?

I have a friend who has a different take on beauty is in the eye of the beholder. He declares that "beauty is in the eye of the beer holder..."
