RE: Did William Coggeshall Save Lincoln's Life?
(09-24-2016 02:36 AM)John Fazio Wrote: . Many people, places and things that are deemed historical have only one source. Mary's presence at the Crucifixion is found only in the Gospel of John. The Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke do not mention her. Was she there? We are talking apples and oranges here. The gospels are about Jesus, not Mary. All four gospels tell in different detail about the crucifixion. They are not identical because they are written by different men for a different audience and purpose. The Coggeshall story was written/recorded by only one person for a different purpose and audience. So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in? |
