I am not going to quibble with you over semantics since we are both interpreting the same details in different ways - one to bolster support for Weichmann's accounts and the other who doesn't care one way or the other and would just like to know what the truth is. Since far better historians than either of us find the situation confusing, I'm not going to carry this on ad nauseam.

As far as headaches are concerned, I seldom have them. However, if you think you are going to win any contest with me as to how good you are at giving headaches, you won't even come close. I have been in this business for fifty years -- 41 of them at Surratt House -- and have dealt with some real Excedrin-quality human headaches. When you can claim that you have threatened me, sued me, or attempted to have me fired, you might climb a little further to the top of the list. All of those job-related things have happened to me within the past decade by just four people (two of which acted as one). I like to think that I'm a survivor - I think it comes from teaching 8th and 9th graders, over 2000 of them in seven years. What does the little guy in the commercial say, "Nobody bothers me!" But bad history does...
