Gault's letter was written 58 years after the event. Is it likely that his account would be accurate? Who was he? I think it's important to look at information with a critical eye, which is why I question Richard's motives for lying. Why would he fabricate his experiences inside the theater? He already had an important role in the history of the assassination.
