I was curious about the words, As a nation mourns, eight men await judgment. I think this is confusing as it looks like they included photos of Joao Celestino and Hartman Richter but none of Samuel Mudd and Mary Surratt.

I think we once discussed this previously, but could someone answer this again...why were no pre-trial photos of Mary Surratt and Samuel Mudd taken?

If I remember correctly, Mary Surratt and Dr. Mudd were not held aboard the Saugus and Montauk where the pictures were taken but, instead, were imprisoned in Washington. Many of the conspirators were held aboard the Saugus and Montauk to prevent the public from trying to sabotage the prison were the people "responsible" for Lincoln's death were kept. The Montauk and Saugus were docked at the Navy Yard were no one could sabotage or destroy.
