Bill, thank you so much. By the sound of your words, it appears I accomplished the goal I set for myself, which was to use my speech not only to tell my story, but also to provoke and inspire my audience. I sincerely hope we will see each other at next year's conference and have more time to chat.

Anyone not inspired by your presentation was not listening. That young people such as you care, makes everything that all of us involved and dedicated to the study of history worthwhile. You totally get it, so all the gratitude goes to you. My focus is Edwin Stanton in the aftermath of Lincoln's assassination.
