The window photo had to be taken between January 1864 and April 1865, I would think. I'm betting March or April of 1865, either during the Inauguration or the victory celebrations. Did Weichmann ever go back to his job at the Commissary General's office after the assassination? I'm also willing to bet that he never smiled again after the events leading up to July 7. |
