I am sorry you are upset. I think these last three posts on this thread are in reaction to mine, seems that way, and I dont really know what to make of that. Maybe you all dont take well to other opinions on a topic you have studied? Your reaction is far more emotional than mine. This is a forum, right? A Lincoln forum? Seems might find some lack of empathy here some time on historical people and issues. I have to think this all over. I wish you and Jim and Laurie well and peace and a nice day. I do not have to agree with you about history and current events in society to wish you the best and really mean it.

As long as you are not a mayonnaise eater, you and I would probably get along just fine. That's one issue I take into account regarding people I meet.
