I brought him to the attention of James O. Hall and he finished the story for us. That's when I learned that you don't have anything - until you have it all. I really enjoy digging out the facts. I believe the Harney mission and Stringfellow missions were linked. Stringfellow's orders came straight from Davis and he was arrested with a map of Washington's defenses. I postulated that his failure to get the info to Harney led to his capture. |
