I ordered my copy of "Lincoln's Mothers" for $.01 on Amazon. Gene you sure know how to find bargains! I agree that Lincoln's three parents collectively were most influential on his character development. It's important that you added his father. Thomas Lincoln had strengths for sure but IMO it was his father's character flaws that made Lincoln determined not to make them his own.

Roger, I don't read historical fiction because I fear mixing facts with fiction, but since you stated it is well researched, I'm checking it out.
