There are so many examples of his narcissism, not the least of which was his choice of Lincoln's death scene, a theater, and his leap to the stage to show the world his "greatness". He could have shot Lincoln in so many other places, but that was his choice, a place with a stage for him to strut victoriously while the world watched. |
