Dave Taylor Makes the Morning News
Follow-up publicity is always good, and Dave was busy getting us some this morning. He and Tim Morgan, Chief of Charles County Tourism, appeared on a five-minute segment of Fox 5 News here in the D.C. area.
The main point was a follow-up on JWB with today being the 150th anniversary of Booth's death, but the two men were able to plug Surratt House and our famous bus tours over the escape route, Dr. Mudd's museum, and even a photo and kind word for Tudor Hall -- as well as the general information on how many sites related to the Lincoln assassination still exist and can be seen as public museums or drive-byes. Good job, gentlemen - and thank you. Dave then headed to Port Royal for the dedication of the new state historical marker at Garrett's Farm. That ceremony will be held at the Port Royal Museum of American History at 2 pm today. I should have added: Go here to see the interview: http://www.myfoxdc.com/clip/11429378/tal...ave-taylor |
