If you are reading this I want you to know that your comments touched me deeply. I am ashamed to admit that as an American woman there is NO WAY I would trust a stranger-even in my own country-enough to get into a car with him/her no matter how kind they seemed. But your post reminded me of the quality of people we Americans are at our best. It sounds like you were given the warmest of welcomes in AL's hometown, despite being a foreigner with what you describe as a limited command of English. I could not be prouder.

And I want to join my own voice to those here on the Forum praising your talents as an artist. That is a fantastic sketch of Lincoln!
