Offhand I can think of only one book I have that indicates she was there - Twenty Days. Maybe there are more, but that's all I can think of right now.

Twenty Days says she did not need a ticket as she was "classed with the military present." The book goes on to say "she shocked everyone on the hanging day by riding her horse to the penitentiary astride, like a man."

Twenty Days is not footnoted. Are there other sources that say she was present?
