Hi Eva,
Use the link in post #20. It's the same. As for the overshoes, there was a light drizzle when Lincoln left for the theater. His valet could have already had them on the boots. They were form fitting and I imagine he just kept them on in the theater. No reason to take them off. After Lincoln was removed from the Petersen house, the rubbers were place with the pillow for storage and melted from the heat leaving the marks. |
