The news just keeps getting worse. My daughter's former roommate lives in OKC, but thankfully is in India right now. However, we have not heard about her family.
There is also a part of me that remembers that one of my all-time favorite people, James O. Hall, is buried in a tiny cemetery in an Oklahoma town. I dare a tornado to disturb his and his wife's eternal rest! I'm also thinking of friends on this forum who live in the danger zone: Art Loux, Blaine Houmes, Matt Macoubrie, those in the northern reaches of the Midwest, and others that I might not know. May God keep you safe. P.S. Christine - My mother used to wake me up in the morning with "Oh, what a beautiful day..." |
