Coffee with a Conspirator

To show you how screwy we were in our younger years (and haven't changed much now!), Betty and a group of us "girls" used to dream up names of foods with a Lincoln assassination twist to it -- just like Booth Burger! We also did it by naming carnival rides after the conspirators.

BTW: Someone asked me today when we became known as the "Boothies." To the best of Joan Chaconas's and my recollections, only the people who made fun of those of us who researched Lincoln assassination called us that. It was meant to be derogatory.

We remember occasionally referring to ourselves as "Booth Buffs." In fact, either Bob Cook or Mike Kauffman had that on their license plates. "Boothies" seems to be of fairly recent coinage.
