I just turned down Nat Geo Channel last month with their request to film a segment at Surratt House on archaeological digs -- using their "professionals." Joan had given me a copy of that map a while ago. I also appreciated the spur. While it's the best map I have of the property, have wondered about the information and it's just a little too exact. It is really hard to get a good handle on what the lay of the land was like since the topography was altered so much by the expansion of 301. |
