Oh yes....Mr. Hall and I had so many conversations and much correspondence as well. We'd call each other and talk or talk at Surratt meetings, outings, etc. As far as I know, Mr. Hall was like me, uncertain that JWB and company could or did meet at the Herndon House on the night of the 14th. They most certainly could have met at the Herndon House before Powell's 3 PM checkout. He seemed to agree with me that if a meeting by "the boys" was held the night of the 14th that it wasn't at the Herndon.
