I know everyone isn't into genealogy, and have to confess that when my father was trying to urge me to look for info, mostly because he had been told that Dr. Todd was related to Mary Todd Lincoln - NOT - I did my fair share of mental eye rolling at the thought of looking up a bunch of dead people. I figured most of my family had just been here for a couple generations, and the list would be full of ancestors who worked at Sears, etc. (nothing wrong with that mind you - good honest work). I would not only encourage those who read this forum to research their family history, but post it online. I have the advantage of being a web master and site designer so it was easier for me to do so. BUT, that's how many of my distant cousins found me and contacted me. In fact, that's how the book found me. |
