With all the knife collectors out there, this probably will not last long. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showth...cket-knife So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in? |

RE: Lincoln Pocket Knife Replica
I would love to own one. There is so much to buy- and so little money!

RE: Lincoln Pocket Knife Replica
I agree Bill. I'm saving my $$ for Springfield. If I don't spend all my allowance, then maybe I'll get one. I may have to ask Santa to get me one for Christmas. Since I never got that Red Rider BB Gun, maybe I stand a chance. I just have to decide if being "really good" is worth the trouble. So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in? |

RE: Lincoln Pocket Knife Replica
OMG!
I own what almost amounts to an exact replica of this knife - and never knew it. I've had this since I was about 10 years old. My father bought one for me and one for my sister years ago at a small local hardware store he used to visit frequently. The differences are that mine is mother of pearl instead of ivory and lacks the little plate in the middle. I think he paid about $.50 for it. I'll treasure it even more now! RE: Lincoln Pocket Knife Replica
It looks like a wonderful collectors item- even has the crack. I'll probably get it eventually- although it is saying there are only 500 made.

RE: Lincoln Pocket Knife Replica
We'll, I ordered it. It's a small sized item but I'm running out of room for things guys. I'm thinking Donna is going to take issue someday with all my "flub dubs!"

RE: Lincoln Pocket Knife Replica
Interesting that Lincoln had two pairs of glasses on his person- I wonder why?

I fogot to mention that I received the knife and was not disappointed in the least. It's beautifully done and packaged very professionally.

RE: Lincoln Pocket Knife Replica
I also got the knife and I was very happy. I actually bought two and had sent the other one to Dr. Wayne C. Temple.
