RE: Grief
Congratulations, Jerry. I'm glad everyone is O.K. That's very nice he was named after your son's friend. That's quite an honor.

RE: Grief
Jerry - Welcome to the Grandparents' Club, and please hug your son for honoring the memory of his friend. Maybe his friend's sacrifice for the good of society will inspire your grandson also. Now, are you coming to the conference?

Yes it is & I'm proud of my son. I hope it helps heal some of the pain that Mason's parents have been going through. The Trial was rough to sit through with the defense attorney trying to blame the victim. The police have a yearly rememberence for him, but they never go. As his mother said - How many times can I bury him?

My son keeps in touch with them, so I hope it helps their anguish.

Dealing with grief is always difficult.Today,I drove by the burned down houses that the maniac killed the Webster police officer and firefighter on Christmas Eve.The entire area still smelled of burned items!"This was very Haunting".We have found out that the maniac did it,because his mother donated All her $$$$ to the Webster fire dept.

Agreed, Dave!

Our friend and fellow Forum member, Dan, is fine! He works only a short distance away from where the bomb exploded and both Roger and I emailed him last night. He's safe at home and had earlier in the day walked down to the finish line....
