Hartranft Descendant and Article - BettyO - 02-08-2013 07:33 AM An interesting article in the Reading PA, Reading Eagle, recounts the story of a woman who, doing genealogy work, found out that she is related to General John Hartranft and is giving a lecture on Hartranft and the Arsenal - Mike Kauffman is also related to Hartranft, or so he told me years ago. http://readingeagle.com/article.aspx?id=451516 RE: Hartranft Descendant and Article - Jim Garrett - 02-08-2013 05:48 PM Will all have our crosses to bare. RE: Hartranft Descendant and Article - L Verge - 02-08-2013 06:36 PM I hope I have my genealogy correct, but a great-granddaughter of Hartranft is a member of the Surratt Society. Al Gambone, now deceased, did a remarkable book on Hartranft about ten years ago. Interesting man.
