Happy Holidays To All - RJNorton - 12-07-2012 06:47 AM

Today Joe Di Cola sent this and asked me to post his holiday greeting a little early. On Monday Joe will have a back operation. He is having a spinal fusion and will be laid up for awhile. Joe, we all send our best wishes for a successful operation and recovery!

I love the cartoon, Joe. It's nice to see that Marley finally got rid of his chains!

You are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope to see you back on the forum soon.

Hilarious! Joe, myself and family also will be praying for you. Keep smiling!

I sent a personal e-mail, Joe, but here's another message to send prayers and wishes for a successful surgery and easy recovery. Keep downing that Christmas eggnog. It's great medicine, but you better lay off the extra "touch" to it - might not go with the meds.

Joe, can't wait to show my 26 year old son the cartoon. He'll love it

Best wishes for a speedy and complete recovery.

Joe,

Here's hoping for a quick recovery after your surgery. Last year at this time I was dealing with losing my toe after surgery and learning at 48 how to walk again. Surgery and Christmas do not mix.

Best wishes!

Rob

Great cartoon! Joe, I had that done while in college and it never once had any bad effects once the recovery period was complete.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery--

Well, the world didn't end. Now we can enjoy the holidays more. Believe it or not, many schools in Michigan closed on Dec. 21st because of that.

It's off to Cleveland[snow] to visit my-Daughter-Granddaughter-and my son-in-law and his family! Merry Christmas Everyone!

May your days be merry and bright, my friends. Safe travels and Merry Christmas!

I received this from a friend today and just wanted to share it with everybody.

That's lovely. Surratt House has another Ostendorf one showing Lincoln and family out Christmas shopping and Abe is carrying a wreath.

Merry Christmas, all!!! Herb, if you're in Cleveland, I hope you have time to go to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!

And, believe it or not, mine stayed open, even though we were specifically targeted with threats of violence.

(what a mean thing to do to all the little ones on what was supposed to be their "Merry" Christmas party day)

Merry Christmas, Herb! Love that little one like only a Grandpa can do!

Merry Christmas, all. What a touching image. From a child's eyes, being held and being told the wonders of the world, and the father's eyes, giving and loving.

May the new year bring us such love to have and to give!
