Assassination - Joe Di Cola - 03-16-2024 11:08 AM

I don't know if any of you are a fan of F. Scott Fitzgerald as I am, but here is something you might enjoy.

In June, 1911, in the publication "St. Paul Academy Now and Then" there appeared this short story by Fitzgerald: THE ROOM OF THE GREEN BLINDS.

Look it up; it is an interesting switch related to the Lincoln assassination.

Thanks for the post Joe and to Gene for the link.

The alternative ending to Booth's capture is indeed an interesting switch. I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't read it. It's intensely suspenseful and keeps you guessing right up to the end. I'm surprised the story hasn't been "borrowed, embellished" and turned into an Amazon novel.
