Well....I read it......
It's a different kind of statue to mark and remember what transpired.
The statue itself may be remembered more than the event it commemorates.
I'll guess it's one of those pieces of "art" that you just have to see to fully appreciate.

I would call it more a metal sculpture than a statue, and it is almost identical to bookends of Mr. Lincoln that we sell at Surratt House - absolutely flat, all black, more of a modern looking silhouette. P.S. The bookends are not good sellers.
