There is a new book out on the assassination of Lincoln: "How a Nation Grieves: Press Accounts of the Death of Lincoln, the Hunt for Booth, and America in Mourning" with a foreword by U.S. Representative Joe Courtney. Witness the assassination the way most people did in 1865, by reading about it in the newspapers. Looks interesting.
