Jim - I'm making a public announcement and coming out... Truth be told, I'm the only Yankee in my family thanks to the U.S. Army Air Corps. They sent my father (and my pregnant mother) to Mitchell Field on Long Island, NY, just long enough for me to be born in the base hospital there. We escaped back across the Mason/Dixon Line when I was about six months old, so I was raised with Southern traditions and proud of it!

Well, you acclimated well to your new surroundings. Thank goodness you weren't born south of the Mason/Dixon and raised on Long Island!!!

I'd have to go with: E.Roosevelt, Abigail Adams, or Susan B. Anthony.

Plenty of well deserving females. Well deserved, long overdue.
