I haven't seen the show, but downloaded the "Ballad of J.W. Booth." Actually, it is a decent history lesson and one that both sides of the "argument' might agree gave a fair hearing to each. I don't know if this is the only Lincoln/Booth number in the show.

I would put the works of Sondheim, Rodgers/Hammerstein, Elvis, and Patsy Cline in a time capsule to represent the best of American music from the last 75 years. Maybe throw in Willie Nelson too. But then again, I stopped listening to popular music around 1990.
