Thank you to Jim Garrett for sending this link. This excellent article was written by forum member Kathy Canavan (Lincoln Wonk). Kudos, Kathy!

It has proved to be a good article for my paper "Is There A Doctor in The House", which I hope to have out soon.

If I am not mistaken,Dr. Leale was the last survivor of the people that stepped into Lincoln's box on the night of the assassination. He died in 1932.
By the way, has anyone ever seen a photograph of Dr. Charles Sabin Taft who was also in the Presidential box that evening?

Craig

Hi Craig. There's a photo of Dr. Taft at Find a Grave:

Craig, your blog about your friend, Danny, was very touching. I read it twice. So sad.
