Fascinating article! My dad is in the oil business so this really interests me! (Although I doubt being a success as an oilman would have kept Booth from assassinating Lincoln!)

It's weirdly interesting! Booth was so full of contradictions and the very down to earth (no pun intended) oil drilling business is so at odds with his delusions of political glory.
