The April 2015 issue of National Geographic features a picture of Abraham Lincoln on the cover with the title, “LINCOLN” and includes the subtitle, “LOOKING FOR HIS LEGACY TODAY.” Also included in this issue is a series of photographs of Lincoln with the quote, “There are many pictures of Lincoln; there is not portrait of him.”
I have not yet had a chance to read any of the material, but thought I would alert those members of this forum who might be interested.
Sounds like the conference was a resounding success. Wish I could have been there.

For folks interested in the numbers there are approximately 130 known photographs of Abraham Lincoln; 40 are beardless and 90 with a beard.
