Teaching Lincoln with Primary Sources - Gene C - 05-26-2014 08:40 AM This site from Eastern Illinois University http://www.eiu.edu/eiutps/alincoln.php Have fun exploring! RE: Teaching Lincoln with Primary Sources - Linda Anderson - 05-26-2014 09:08 AM Thanks, Gene. The site looks interesting. There's even a Lincoln Assassination CSI activity. Poor George Robinson and Fanny Seward are left out of Powell's attack on Seward once again, though. RE: Teaching Lincoln with Primary Sources - Gene C - 05-26-2014 09:13 AM A shame, since I would consider Fanny's diary a primary source. Maybe you could email the director and share that info with her. RE: Teaching Lincoln with Primary Sources - L Verge - 05-26-2014 11:33 AM I like the Lincoln Assassination CSI title because it is up-to-date and relevant to modern students' television senses. It appears to be much the same as the mock trial that Roger and I used for years in our classrooms and what the education staff at Surratt House still uses as part of our in-school programs or at the end of a class tour.
