RE: Reward amounts - Laurie Verge - 04-08-2013 08:30 AM Glad to hear that you are on the mend. I witnessed the build up of fluids to staggering amounts with my mother going into congestive heart failure, so I know how scary it is. RE: Reward amounts - John Stanton - 04-08-2013 09:00 PM Rob. Your first report was so disturbing - to all of us. Now that you are feeling better, we all feel better too. So NO MORE PROBLEMS - THAT"S AN ORDER!. RE: Reward amounts - My Name Is Kate - 04-09-2013 02:51 AM I'm glad you're feeling better, Rob. I hope you will be posting more on this board soon. RE: Reward amounts - Jim Garrett - 04-10-2013 07:46 AM Best wishes. relax and keep posting. RE: Reward amounts - Rob Wick - 04-11-2013 06:57 PM Just a note to let everyone know that I will have a heart catheterization Monday. From that we will determine the next step. My cardiologist told me there is a chance it would require nothing or if one artery is showing signs of blockage it would only require a stent. If more than one is showing blockage his recommendation would be a bypass. Root for either nothing or the stent, please. Best Rob RE: Reward amounts - HerbS - 04-11-2013 07:03 PM Rob,I had a 5-way bypass 6yrs ago and numerous stents. You will get thru this just based on your posts.I haven't met you yet,but you seem to be a stalwart! Good Luck-Herb RE: Reward amounts - Gene C - 04-11-2013 07:04 PM I'm praying for you Rob. On things like this, I find it works better than just rooting (but I'm rooting for you too) RE: Reward amounts - BettyO - 04-11-2013 07:09 PM Praying and rooting, Rob!l RE: Reward amounts - Linda Anderson - 04-11-2013 07:14 PM (04-11-2013 07:09 PM)BettyO Wrote: Praying and rooting, Rob!l Me, too! Rob, will they do the stent the same time as the catheterization if you need one or is that a separate procedure? RE: Reward amounts - L Verge - 04-11-2013 07:33 PM I'm in the minority among my friends - one of the few who does not have a stent or a by-pass, and I pray that it stays that way. However, they are all doing much better after their procedures. I know you will do better also. I'm praying... RE: Reward amounts - J. Beckert - 04-11-2013 08:10 PM You're in my prayers, Rob. A close friend had a stent put in at 53 and he's as healthy as a horse now. My Uncle had quadruple bypass done this week at 72 and he's fine. Those operations are run of the mill now. You'll be fine. Nothing is more important than your health. Listen to them sawbones and get recovered real soon. RE: Reward amounts - Lincoln Wonk - 04-12-2013 07:21 AM Rob, I'll be praying everything goes smoothly. My understanding is that it would be done right then. Even with that, the doctor said I would be able to go home that day. Thanks everyone for your kind words and thoughts. Hopefully one of these days I'll feel like getting back to work on my book. Best Rob |
