RE: Lincoln's 1865 Autopsy Report and Death Certificate - Gene C - 02-08-2016 02:06 PM I agree with Dr. Houmes. I also remember reading in '20 Days" where they had a photo of a skull that had undergone a similar gunshot wound. The skull was badly damaged, and they commented that Lincoln's head may have sustained similar damage. While I'm not an doctor, but I did watch a lot of episodes of Doogie Howser http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x13jgjm_doogie-howser-s1-ep-1-pilot_shortfilms RE: Lincoln's 1865 Autopsy Report and Death Certificate - RJNorton - 02-08-2016 02:36 PM (02-08-2016 02:06 PM)Gene C Wrote: I agree with Dr. Houmes. Dr. Houmes, thank you so much for sharing all your thoughts and expert opinions and information. As an emergency physician I am sure you have seen too many of these wounds. Gene, that photo you mentioned fascinated my 8th graders. As I've mentioned before, Twenty Days is the only book I ever used in the classroom that ex-students came back to my classroom to see again. |
