Yes, I think you're right, Roger. I had a coworker once who swore by Red Hat -- never heard much of viruses attacking Linux....

You can get it from http://www.lavasoft.com We also use this where I work. We also use another program as well, Malware-Bytes. Both of these are free and are very good. It was the Ad-Aware that caught the trojan; malware that was on my machine, believe it or not - NOT the Norton!

Thanks, Betty. I'll give those a try. I've been getting messages, supposedly from Norton, about having acquired malware or some other evil thing on my computer, except that the notices aren't like the ones I'm used to receiving from Norton. I think that the notices are themselves the malware!
