So sorry to hear that, Rob. Here's to a speedy and full recovery.

John Lloyd also filed claims with the government for damages done to property here in Surrattsville - to no avail.

Thanks everyone.

I'm home now, but I have a long road ahead of me. The heart attack was minor and the damage was limited, but I am a diabetic and I didn't have any symptoms until after it happened. I was having problems sleeping at night because I couldn't lay down with the large amount of fluid in my body (41 pounds worth). I had switched doctors and wasn't supposed to see him until April 8, but I called on Thursday asking if I could get worked in sooner. They were able to do so and upon seeing my feet and legs, the doctor told me to go to the hospital.

They have drained about half the fluid and I can breathe easily again.

Now my cardiologist wants me to have a catherization to check for blockage. We'll see where it goes from there.

Again, I sincerely appreciate everyone's thoughts and concern. As Dorothy Gale once said "there's no place like home."

Best
Rob

I'm glad to see you are at home and on your way to recovery, Rob. It was smart going to see the doctor earlier than planned.

Rob, Gald to hear you are home and on the road to recovery. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. I also had a heart attack at the age of 31. Because I also changed doctors I found out that my attack was due to the fact that I have lupus and not stress as my first doctor told me. Now I am on meds for the rest of my life but happy! So take care my friend and god speed! Best Gary P.
