Either Ed Fitz- didn't help Jones, or we just can't find the trail.

I found a bunch of "Ed. Fitz's"- and can't prove anything. The references to Wat Bowie is vague. There were 3 Wat Bowies, and two worked with/for Mosby. (which gave them an opportunity to be in that area.)

The battle at Ball's Bluff occurred very early in the war (I think it was the FIRST Battle.) That would contribute little to our current effort.
